Please leave a mobile phone number at checkout and we will forward this to the courier. This will assist with the delivery, particularly where special instructions are left. We will use your email address if no phone number is provided.
These larger furniture items will be fully made up in our workshop to ensure it all fits correctly. If the item does not require assembly at home it will then be passed through to the dispatch department. If the item does require assembly at home, our workshop team will then disassemble it again into its component parts and pass it through to the dispatch department.
In dispatch they will be checked over again for quality before being packed appropriately. The item is then loaded onto a pallet ready for collection by our courier.
Your item will then be dispatched and arrive at your address on a pallet on a date arranged between yourself and the pallet delivery company. It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
Please remember to leave your phone number at the checkout as we will forward this to the delivery company to contact you and arrange the delivery date directly with you. The phone number is a requirement by the delivery company and, if no number is provided, the order cannot be dispatched and there may be a delay in sending your item.
Delivery is via a pallet company. You will receive an email prior to dispatch to confirm an estimate dispatch date. The courier will usually contact you directly within 5 working days from dispatch to arrange a delivery date that is suited to you.
The courier will deliver “road side” which means that they are not obligated to assist in moving items into a home or commercial premises. It is recommended that 2 strong people take delivery to make sure that items can be moved easily.
On the date of delivery you must be at the delivery address as the delivery company will only attempt one delivery. If there is no one present to take receipt of the goods the item will be returned to the depot to await further instruction. Any more delivery attempts will incur an extra delivery charge.
Please note; it is the buyer's responsibility to inform us of any access issues prior to delivery. Re-delivery charges may occur if delivery is unsuccessful due to access issues.
In addition to UK mainland, we deliver to Highlands, Isles, Ireland, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria.
For these areas, there will be an additional 2-5 working days for delivery so please consider this when placing your order.
