If you’re looking for the best way to care for and clean your furniture and shelves, we’ve put together a helpful guide to cleaning any spillages off your solid wood furniture.
Step 1. First, take a clean, damp cloth and wipe away the spillage.
Step 2. Then, leave the area to dry. Never use harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive cloths to clean the surface of your furniture or shelf as this can really damage the wax finish.
Top Tip - You may find it surprising that spill clean-up methods such as baby wipes, should be avoided when cleaning your solid wood furniture since they can also damage the wax finish!
Step 3. Once the area has dried, you may identify that the spillage has soaked into the wood and damaged the wax. If this is the case, you’ll need to repair the damage with one of our Wax Care Packs.
